In 2016, I stepped away from the corporate world, uncertain of what was next. But one question stayed with me: What gift do I have to give back?
That question led me here. In March 2017, I started this juice business—not because I set out to be an entrepreneur, but because something about it felt right. A calling, perhaps. A way to create something nourishing, uplifting, and meaningful.
This journey has been one of learning, resilience, and connection. There were long days and quiet victories, moments of doubt and deep fulfillment. But the real reward? Seeing customers return, hearing your stories, and knowing that what we created became a small part of your lives.
That is why this is a difficult announcement to make. After much thought, I have decided to close the juice business, with our last delivery on Friday, 2 May 2025. My old back injuries have worsened, and I need to focus on recovery. At the same time, I have not been able to find the right person to take over my role.
That said, Green Hydrant is not going away. We will remain online for non-juice items, and I hope to introduce workshops in the future. This is not a goodbye—just a shift, a space for something new to take root.
Life is a journey, and along the way, we share paths with different people—some boarding the same bus or train, traveling together for a while before we each alight at our respective stops. Though our destinations may differ, the time spent together matters.
